Dr. Tran is deeply committed to global health, volunteering her medical expertise to support underserved communities around the world. She has participated in numerous humanitarian missions across the Dominican Republic, Cambodia, and Vietnam—bringing essential care to those who need it most.

In Cambodia, Dr. Tran joined a dedicated medical and dental team that treated over 3,000 patients in just one week. These efforts helped deliver critical healthcare services to individuals with limited access to medical support.

Last year, from July 21 to 26, 2024, the International Humanitarian Missions (IHM) team stepped into floating villages and remote communities around Tonle Sap Lake and Kampong Chhnang. What they experienced left an indelible mark—not only on the lives of the villagers but also on the hearts of every volunteer.
By the numbers:
2,486 patients served, including 804 children
Medical care delivered across Ponley, Kampong Luong, and Kampong Chhnang
Navigation through floating homes and schools to reach underserved children
School and clinic visits that proved education and healthcare can—and must—go hand in hand.
But beyond the metrics, it was the smiles of the children, the tears of relief from parents, and the transformative healing of the volunteers themselves that truly defined the mission.
Volunteer Johana Cañedo captured it best in her reflection:
“It did all things to my heart… I saw the brightest smiles light up their faces, and in giving, I was the one who walked away feeling more fulfilled and healed.”

As we prepare to return from July 28 to August 1, 2025, our hearts are full, but our mission is far from complete.
Many villages still lack basic healthcare access.
Children continue to face malnutrition, anemia, and preventable illnesses.
Women are waiting for screenings and education that can save their lives.
Communities still live without clean water or safe homes
The 2025 mission aims to expand our reach, deepen our data, and strengthen our school and clinic partnerships. This year, we're also working toward:
Rolling out HPV vaccinations to teen girls
Enhancing mental health outreach for women and youth
Providing continuity care through strengthened local partnerships
Your support—whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word—is what will make this happen.

This is not just a mission. It’s a movement.
A call to remind the world that no community is too remote, no child too forgotten, no mother too far from hope.
With your continued support, we will go further, reach deeper, and uplift more lives—one patient, one village, one heartbeat at a time.
Let’s return to Cambodia, together.
